JANIE A. MOZINGO

Janie Lou Allen Mozingo, 67, passed away Saturday morning surrounded by her family at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.

Mrs. Mozingo was born in Wayne County to the late Howard and Mildred H. Allen Collins and was married to Gerald Thornton Mozingo.

She was a homemaker and a member of Salem United Methodist Church.

A graveside service will be held Monday at Wayne Memorial Park at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Elbert Hollowell and the Rev. Sandy Schaller officiating.

The family will receive friends on Sunday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Jerry T. Mozingo and wife, Pam, of Goldsboro, and Gene A. Mozingo; a special daughter, Charlotte Collins Parchman and husband, Robert, of Goldsboro; three grandchildren, Chase Allen Mozingo, Clay Edward Mozingo and Macy Renee Mozingo; and a step-grandson, Jason Harris.
