JACKSONVILLE -- Mary Bell Smith, 61, formerly of Goldsboro, passed away Wednesday morning at the home of her daughter in Jacksonville.

She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mamie Cherry Bell, and was married to the late Don Franklin Smith.

Two brothers, Bobby and Ronald Bell, also preceded Mrs. Smith in death.

A funeral service will be held Friday evening at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends following the service.

The committal service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park.

Mrs. Smith is survived by two sons, Eddie Luther Ray Quinn and fianceé, Veronica Lewis, of Jacksonville and Joseph Lawrence Quinn of Goldsboro; a daughter, Rhonda Quinn Outlaw and husband, Kenneth, of Jacksonville; three brothers, Gary Bell and wife, Teresa, of Magnolia, Ray Bell and wife, Carolyn, of Mount Olive and Adrian "Babe" Bell and wife, Sue, of Kenansville; a sister, Thelma Barnette and husband, Henry, of Kenansville; and eight grandchildren.
