RUSSELL 'DWAYNE' SAULS

Jan. 8, 1961-April 23, 2013

SOUTHPORT -- Russell "Dwayne" Sauls, 52, Southport, N.C., went to be with his Lord and savior Tuesday, April 23, 2013.

His memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 27, 2013, at Community Bible Church in Southport, N.C.

Visitation will be held immediately following the service.

Dwayne was born in Goldsboro, N.C., Jan. 8, 1961.

He graduated from Charles B. Aycock High School in 1979, and continued his education at Wayne Community College.

Dwayne worked as a maintenance I and C technician for Progress Energy, and gave 31 years of dedicated service to the Brunswick Nuclear Plant.

He enjoyed relaxing on the beach, photography and most of all, spending time with his family.

He was actively involved in Community Bible Church, where he served his Lord in various capacities.

There is no doubt that Dwayne's friendly smile and sense of humor will be dearly missed by all those who knew him.

He is survived by his son, Adam Sauls and wife, Kayla, of Durham; his daughter, Erica Sauls of Goldsboro; his mother, Peggy Hare of Goldsboro; his sister, Debbie Morrissette and husband, James, of Dinwiddie, Va.; and numerous extended family members who were dear to Dwayne's heart.

He was preceded in death by his father, Sydney "Russell" Sauls of Fremont, N.C.

In lieu of flowers, Dwayne's children request that memorial donations be made to Community Bible Church, 102 Port Loop Road, Southport, N.C., 28461.

Dwayne's family would like to extend heartfelt thanks for all of your love and support during his untimely passing.
