BELVA GREENFIELD JACKSON

Mrs. Belva Greenfield Jackson, 58, lovingly known by her family and friends as "Bel," 496 Hare Road, Goldsboro, departed her earthly life Tuesday, March 12, 2013, at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

Belva was born in Kings County, Brooklyn, N.Y., Aug. 4, 1954, to the late Mr. John Henry Greenfield and the living Mrs. Ruthie Bell Greenfield.

She graduated from Central Eastern Wayne High School.

A viewing will be held from noon to 12:50 p.m., and the funeral service will follow Tuesday, March 19, 2013, at 1 p.m. at Goldsboro-Raleigh Assembly Church of Christ Disciples of Christ, 214 Hooks River Road, Goldsboro.

Interment will follow in Greenfield Family Cemetery, 699 Indian Springs Road, Seven Springs.

Mrs. Belva Jackson leaves to cherish her loving and precious memories her husband, Manuel Jackson Jr.; her mother, Ruthie Greenfield; two daughters, Tawanna Jackson Sutton and Ravonda Jackson; two sons, Sean Greenfield and Manuel Trimone Jackson; a brother, Timothy Greenfield; seven grandchildren; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.

The family will assemble at the residence of Mrs. Ruthie Greenfield, 184 Hare Road, Goldsboro, one hour prior to the funeral for the funeral procession.
