MARIAN S. "POLLY" HARDY
Aug. 11, 1926-March 6, 2013
Marian S. "Polly" Hardy passed gracefully from this life to her eternal heavenly home during the early morning of Wednesday, March 6, 2013.
Polly was lovingly encircled by her children and members of her family at the Quinn Hospice Care Center in Kenansville.
Polly was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Hardy Sr., her father, Tilden Summerlin and mother, Annie B. Summerlin, all of Kenansville, and her brother, Tilden Carr "T.C." Summerlin of Ayden.
She is survived by her beloved children, son, Earl Hardy Jr. and wife, Gwyn, of Kenansville, and daughter, Marian H. LaCoe, and husband, Don, of Mount Olive; four wonderful grandchildren, Christopher D. LaCoe and wife, Kristen, of Winnabow, Jeremy R. LaCoe of Winnabow, Kimberly L. Jones and husband, Michael, of Warsaw, and Jacob D. Hardy and wife, Dawn, of Concord; and two angelic great-granddaughters, Kacey Jones and Cory Jones of Warsaw.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. today at the Kenansville United Methodist Church in Kenansville. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 6:30 p.m. Interment will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Devotional Gardens in Warsaw. Celebrant is Pastor Martin "Marty" Greer.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting memorial gifts be sent to the Quinn Hospice Care Center, P.O. Box 887, Kenansville N.C. 28349.
