WILLIAM HOWARD LOCUS

Aug. 29, 1932-March 6, 2013

Deacon William Howard Locus, 80, of 201 Bunche Drive died Wednesday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.

He was born Aug. 29, 1932, in Wayne County to Wade A. Locus Sr. and Rachel Irene Best Locus.

His life and service to God and mankind will be celebrated Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Goldsboro Raleigh Disciples Institute with Bishop Alton A. Smith officiating. His mortal remains will be laid to rest in the Wayne Memorial Park.

His memory and love is treasured by his wife of 60 years, Dorothy Best Locus of the home; his daughters, Rachel Locus of Lanham, Md., and Cheryl Locus of Durham; four grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be today from 4 until 6 p.m. with the family present to receive friends from 5 p.m. until 6 p.m. at the Haskins Funeral Home. The family will assemble at the residence in preparation for the funeral procession. Condolences maybe posted at www.haskinsfh.com.
