Doris Louise Strickland, 79, formerly of Princeton, died Tuesday at Johnston Medical Center.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Casey Funeral Home chapel, with the Rev. Dwayne Batten officiating. Burial will be in Parrish Memorial Cemetery.
She was born in Durham County Nov. 20, 1933, and was the daughter of the late Esther Strickland Parrish.
She is survived by two daughters.
Visitation will be tonight from 5 to 7 at Casey Funeral Home. At other times the family will receive friends at the home of Brett Smith, 1056 Selah Church Road in Grantham.
