ELEANOR B. GOFF

Eleanor Beamon Goff, 83, passed away this morning at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

Eleanor was born in Wayne County Oct. 22, 1928, to the late James "J.R." Beamon and Eva Pate Beamon. She was married to the late Leslie "Red" Goff.

Eleanor had worked for Eatmon Corp., and had attended Belfast Pentecostal Holiness Church.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, Oct. 14, 2012, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home, with the Rev. Matthew Horne officiating. Burial will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.

Eleanor is survived by her sisters, Dorothy Pope of Garner, Lorraine Rowe and husband, Mutt, of Pikeville and Reba Barwick of Seven Springs; her brother, Edwin Beamon and wife, Christine, of Belfast; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made to Belfast Pentecostal Holiness Church, 3093 U.S. 117 North, Goldsboro, N.C., 27530.

The family will receive friends Saturday, Oct. 13, 2012, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home, and other times at the home of her sister and brother-in-law, Lorraine and Mutt Rowe, 347 Rose Road, Pikeville.
