MOUNT OLIVE -- Thomas Allen Bruton, 42, 751 Indian Springs Road, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 10, at Wayne Hospital.
He had been employed with Sonoco Products, and was a native of Brunswick County.
Thomas is survived by his fiancee, Cynthia D. Rhodes of the home; a daughter, Cristina A. Bruton of Wilmington; his parents, Thomas W. Bruton of Wilmington and Sylvia Pleasants Berube of Florida; a stepson, Anthony W. Kornegay and wife, Nikki, of Kenansville; two grandchildren, Kayla and Leah Kornegay; and a brother, David Bruton of New York.
A gathering for family and friends will be at Tyndall Funeral Home Friday, Oct. 12, from 7 to 9 p.m.
