NEWTON GROVE -- Kenneth Michael "Mike" Pennington, 52, died Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012.
Funeral service will be Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2012, at 6 p.m. at West and Dunn Funeral Home chapel, with the Rev. Chris Watkins, the Rev. Tony Ward and the Rev. Tim Strickland officiating. Interment will be in Pennington Family Cemetery Wednesday, Oct. 3, at 11 a.m.
He is survived by sons, Kevin Michael Pennington and wife, Maria, and Kenneth Rhyan Penning of Mount Olive; grandson, Chandler Michael Pennington; mother, Carolyn P. Pennington of Mount Olive; fiancee, Lisa Barfield of Newton Grove; sister, Pam Sellers and husband, Allen, of Selma; brothers, Gerald Pennington of Mount Olive and David Pennington and wife, Connie, of Mount Olive; and special children, Dana Barfield Allen and husband, Justin, and Josh Barfield and wife, Camille.
He was preceeded in death by his father, Kenneth F. Pennington.
The family will receive friends after the service Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2012.
