Linda Faye Stafford Carter died Monday morning at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville.
Born in Wayne County, she was the daughter of the late Wilbert Leon Stafford Sr. and Mildred Lawhorn Stafford.
A service to celebrate Linda's life will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at The Sanctuary in Jacksonville.
The family will be receiving friends for one hour prior to the service.
Linda is survived by her sons, Robert Franks and William Carter of Midway Park; her brothers, Wilbert Leon Stafford Jr. and Thomas Stafford of Goldsboro; and a sister, Barbara Johnson of Goldsboro.
The family requests no flowers, and memorial gifts may be directed to your favorite charity.
