Kenneth Wayne Helms, 43, 205 Plantation Road, Goldsboro, died Monday afternoon.
He was born Sept. 23, 1968, and was the son of Ellen Eichacker Helms and the late Wayne Dortch Helms.
Kenneth was a member of the College Republican Society, and a member of Pleasant Plane Free Will Baptist Church.
The funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday afternoon in the chapel of Casey Funeral Home, with the Rev. Billy Nowell officiating. Burial will follow in Princeton Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Sharma Helms, sons; Keaton Wayne Helms and Wil Larson Helms both of the home; his mother, Ellen Eichacker Helms of Selma; and brother, Bobby Helms of Clayton.
The family will receive friends Friday evening, Sept. 14, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Casey Funeral Home in Princeton.
