FAISON -- Elder Charlie J. Bell, 84, of 129 Charlie Bell Lane, died Thursday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Home-going services will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at Goldsboro-Raleigh Assembly, 211 W. Hooks River Road, with Elder Kendall Clark officiating. Burial will follow in Cobbs Cemetery.
He was born in Duplin County, and was the son of the late John and Mary Jane Wolfe Bell and the husband of the late Frances Lee Bell.
Twelve children survive.
Viewing will be held today from 3 until 6 p.m. at Garris Funeral Home Chapel. A wake will be held from 7 until 8 p.m. at Moses Chapel Disciple Church of Christ. The family will be present at this time to receive friends and at other times at the residence.
