Larry Kent Howell, 67, passed away Saturday at Countryside Village in Pikeville.
A graveside service with military honors will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Overman Cemetery, Boswell Road, Kenly. The family will greet friends following the service.
Mr. Howell was born in Wilson County on Dec. 19, 1944, to the late James and Hazel Hinnant Howell.
He is survived by his first wife, Rudine Aycock of Pikeville; one daughter, Kendra Howell of Pikeville; one sister, Jane Hamm and husband, Jimmy, of Fremont; and two nephews, Greg and Jeff Hamm.
