MOUNT OLIVE -- Delores Pollock Bond died Wednesday, June 6.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, June 11, at First Baptist Church, Rose Hill. Interment will follow at Duplin Memorial Gardens, Teachey. A native of Duplin County, Mrs. Bond was the daughter of the late Richard and Susan Fennell Pollock. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph C. Bond; sisters, Betty L. Pollock and Florene P. Sutton.
She is survived by a son, Reginald Bond of Mount Olive; daughter, Sonya Bond Bey and her husband, Trustin, of Fayetteville; two sisters, Ella Pollock Robinson of Beltsville, Md., and Mrs. Ed "Hilda" Cromartie of Mount Olive and one brother, Charles Pollock of Philadelphia, Pa.
The family will receive friends today from 6 until 8 p.m. at Matthews Funeral Chapel, Wallace.
