Doris Williams Boldin, 88, passed Monday, Jan. 23, 2012, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
A a homegoing celebration will be held Saturday, Jan. 28, 2012, at 3:30 p.m. at Eastern Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, with the Rev. Timothy Dortch as eulogist. She will be laid to rest in the VA Cemetery, Salisbury, Monday, Jan. 30, 2012.
She was born Dec. 12, 1923, in Lenoir County to the late Burnie Williams and Lola Jones.
There will be a wake held Friday, Jan. 27, 2012, from 8 to 9 p.m. in the J.B. Rhodes Jr. Memorial Chapel.
At other times, the family will be receiving friends at the home of her niece Thelma Pugh at 407 Talton Road, Princeton.
