Sarah Becton, 88, of 218 Kornegay St., Dover, died Wednesday at Brunswick Novant Medical Center in Supply.
Funeral will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at St. John Church of Christ Disciples of Christ in Dover. Internment will follow at Hickory Grove Church Cemetery in Kinston.
Visitation will 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday at Rhodes Funeral Home Chapel, 708 S. Slocumb St. A visitation also will be held from 6 until 8 p.m. at Queens Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church in Dover. The family will gather at the home one hour prior to the service to prepare for the funeral procession.
