GRANTHAM -- Mrs. Lura Faye Jones Taylor, 89, passed away Sunday morning, Jan. 15, at home at 991 Old Grantham Road in Goldsboro.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Jan. 17, at 2 p.m. by the graveside at Wayne Memorial Park. The Rev. Pete Radford will officiate.
Family and friends
will be received at the residence.
Mrs. Taylor, a retired dental assistant, was the daughter of the late Carlie and Eva Sullivan Taylor, and was a native of the Oak Ridge community in Duplin County.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Ruth and W. D. Cherry, with whom she made her home; a sister-in-law, Ruth J. Beasley of Mount Olive; and several nieces and nephews.
Tyndall Funeral Home in Mount Olive is honored to serve the family of Mrs. Taylor.
