William O. "Bill" Britt Jr., 59, passed away on Friday evening at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2012, from 10 until 11 a.m. at Seymour Funeral Home, followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. at the chapel with the Rev. Steve Wellman officiating. Interment will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.
Bill was born in Wayne County on Aug. 30, 1952, to William Otto Britt and Hilda Jones Britt of Goldsboro. He was a member of New Hope United Methodist Church.
Bill is survived by his children, Melody M. Britt Swaim, Wesley Britt and Cody Britt.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Lacy Sheryl Britt.
