RUBY SILER

Ruby Siler, 79, of 505 Hamilton Drive, passed away peacefully Sunday in the Kitty Askins Hospice Center.

Her life and service to God and mankind will be celebrated on Thursday at 12 noon at the St. Andrews Episcopal Church with the Rev. Mary Reece officiating. Her mortal frame will be laid to rest in the Elmwood Cemetery.

She was preceded in the silent halls of death by her husband, William Perry Siler and her son, William Monte Siler.

Warm and loving memories remain with her son, Lowell Lesesne Siler of Durham, N.C.; her daughters, Donna Virginia Bowman of Columbus, Ohio, LaTonia Ann Siler-Holloman of Greensboro, N.C., Dejuana Siler Henderson of Durham, N.C.; her brothers, Chester Lee Aytch of Sicklerville, N.J., Robert E. Aytch of Yedon, Pa.; nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 3 to 6 p.m. in the Lander Coe Parlor at the Haskins Funeral Home, 601 E. Ash St.

In lieu of flowers, please make contributions in her memory to St. Andrews Episcopal Church, 901 Harris St., Goldsboro, N.C. 27530.
