FRIEDA PLETSCH GRIFFITH

Frieda Pletsch Griffith, 87, passed away Saturday night at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Born in Neustadt, Germany, she was the daughter of Emil and Frieda Kramer Pletsch, and the wife of the late Willard Griffith.
She was a member of Salem Advent Church in Mount Olive.
Graveside services will be Thursday, Oct. 6, 2011, at 2 p.m. at Wayne Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends Wednesday night from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
She is survived by a daughter, Ursula Smith, and a son, Reinhold Georgi, both of Goldsboro; two sisters, Erica Knight of Georgia and Elizabeth White of Alabama; six grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
