Dorothy Mozingo Langston, 78, passed away Monday, Oct. 3, 2011, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Dorothy was born in Lenoir County Nov. 4, 1932, to the late Willie Mozingo and Pauline Carter Mozingo.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2011, at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home, with Willie Teachey officiating. Interment will be Thursday, Oct. 6, 2011, at 11 a.m. in Elmwood Cemetery.
Dorothy is survived by her children, Ann Carter and husband, Melvin, of Pikeville, Faye Smith and husband, Billy, of Dudley and Robbie Langston and wife, Bonnie, of Zebulon; her eight grandchildren; her 10 great-grandchildren; her four great-great-grandchildren; her sisters, Jean Martin of California and JoAnn Teachey and husband, Willie, of Pikeville and Ruby Gurley of Saulston; and her brother, Kenny Mozingo of Pikeville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Garland L. Langston; her son, Ronnie Lee Langston; and her sisters, Margaret Overman and Louise Bissett.
Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made to Kitty Askins Hospice Center at 107 Handley Park Court, Goldsboro, N.C., 27534.
The family will receive friends following the service, and other times at the residence, 4295 U.S. 117 Alternate, Dudley, N.C., 28333.
