Mary "Maggie" Monk, 78, 502 Dixie Trail, died Saturday at Wake Medical Center.
Funeral will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Greater Six Runs Baptist Church in Turkey, with the Rev. Harold Boykins officiating. Burial will be in Bowdens Cemetery.
She was born in Duplin County Sept. 1, 1933, to the late Jospeh and Annie Kornegay Champ.
She is survived by six children.
Visitation will be held Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Garris Funeral Home chapel, with the family present from 6 to 7 p.m. and Saturday an hour prior to the service at the church. At other times the family will be at the home.
