Sue Melvin Umholtz, 65, died on Friday, Sept. 16, 2011, at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
No formal service will be held.
Sue was born in Sampson County on Sept. 12, 1946, to the late Douglas and Emma Ruth Robinson Melvin. She was a member of the Ray of Hope Church.
She is survived by her husband, Clarence Umholtz, and three daughters.
