CHARLES "CHIP" WESTBROOK

Charles "Chip" Westbrook, 57, born June 26, 1954, in Goldsboro, passed away at his home in Greenville Monday Aug. 22, 2011, following a short illness.
Plans for a memorial have not been finalized.
The family has donated his body to the ECU School of Medicine for scientific research. This loving father, son and friend is preceded in death by his father, Charles R. Westbrook, and is survived by his mother, Mary Ruth Maxwell, and stepmother, Nellie Westbrook Best; son, Ryan B. Westbrook and fiancée; and brother, Eric Westbrook and family; as well as many other family members and friends.
Chip will be sorely missed by many. Condolences may be mailed to Ryan Westbrook, 1636 Hoover St., Greenville, NC 27858.
