ELIZABETH A. MURRAY

Elizabeth Ann Murray, 77, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, walked through the shadow of death into the presence of her Lord Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2011.

A memorial service will be held this afternoon at 3 at Emmaus Baptist Church, with the Rev. Jim Willoughby, the Rev. Johnny Sasser and the Rev. Rick Mondell officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

She was the daughter of the late Alfred Edward and Julia Agnus Doming, and was married to the Rev. C. Thomas Murray.

Mrs. Murray was a member of Emmaus Baptist Church, and was a retired activity director for Cypress Garden Convalescence Home.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Murray is survived by a daughter, Lori Fuller and husband, Arnold, of East Hampton, Mass.; two sons, David Foster and fiancée, Reba, of Casa Grande, Ariz., and Tom Murray of San Francisco, Calif.; eight grandchildren, Jeremy, Michael, Kristen, Shane, Cody, Austin James, Katie and Brian; and nine great-grandchildren.
