Masumi Kin Wike, 39, passed away on Thursday, July 28, 2011, at Pitt Memorial Hospital.
A service for the family will be held at a later date in Pennsylvania.
Masumi was born in Okinawa, Japan, on Jan. 5, 1972, to Dennis Ray Thieke and Miyoko Kin Thieke.
Masumi is survived by her husband of seven years, Ivan Joseph Wike and her children, Rika Wike and Ayan Wike, both of Goldsboro.
