JUDITH C. KORNEGAY

Judith Coates Kornegay, 73, died Saturday at her residence.

Funeral services will be held Monday, Aug. 1, at 11 a.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home. Family members will greet friends at the funeral home immediately following the service and at other times will be at the home. Burial in Wayne Memorial Park will follow the visitation.

Born in Wayne County, she was the daughter of the late Currie Evander and Ruby Anderson Coates. She was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Mount Olive.

Mrs. Kornegay is survived by her husband, Robert Eugene Kornegay; three daughters and sons-in-law, Lori K. Moody and husband, Felix, of Dudley, Dana K. Baker and husband, Henry, of Dudley, Jill K. Graham and husband, Randy, of Mount Olive; two sons and daughters-in-law, Currie Eugene Kornegay and wife, Mary, Robert Vann Kornegay and wife, Cindy, all of Dudley; one sister, Linda Zeimmer of Dudley; 10 grandchildren, Natalie D. Stinnett and husband, Tim, of Goldsboro, Bethany K. Gurley and husband, Michael, of Princeton, Currie Ross Kornegay, Felix Shawn Moody, Kelsey Mae Kornegay, Caleb Vann Kornegay, Rhonda Aguilar, Jessica Roberts, all of Dudley, Laken V. Baker and Brittany N. Graham both of Mount Olive; three great-grandchildren, Noah Shay Stinnett of Goldsboro, Gabe Lopez and Jocelin Aguilar both of Dudley.
