Elvira "Nanay Elvie" Tobias went to be with God on Wednesday July 13, 2011, at 8 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Hospital. "Nanay Elvie" was born in Laguna, Philippines to the late Eugenio and Apolonia Fabula Tobias.
A graveside funeral service will be held on Tuesday morning at 11 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 10 until 11 a.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home. Friends are welcome to wear red, in honor of her favorite color.
"Nanay Elvie" is survived by a daughter, Eleonore Hackett of Goldsboro; and two sons, Edgardo Reyes, and Ernesto Reyes both of the Philippine Islands.
