MOUNT OLIVE -- Dorothy Bethea Rosser Houle, 92, passed away early Sunday morning, July 3, 2011, at Memorial Hospital West in Pembroke Pines, Fla.
Born in Mount Olive, N.C., Sept. 2, 1918, she was the daughter of the late Elisha Bethea and Jane Jannette Bethea.
The family will receive friends at Tyndall Funeral Home in Mount Olive Friday, July 8, from 1 to 2 p.m., and then proceed to Wayne Memorial Park for a 2:30 p.m. graveside service to be officiated by Dr. Greg Day.
Mrs. Houle is survived by three sons, Samuel Rosser and Ernest Rosser both of Aurora, Mo., and Thomas Rosser of Pembroke Pines, Fla., and a sister, Ruth B. Hodges of Wilmington, N.C.
Other siblings, Clarissa K. Stamper, Alice Bethea, Iris B. Cotton, Anna B. Evans, Ennis Kornegay and Dan Kornegay, preceded her in death.
