SEVEN SPRINGS -- Linwood Henry "Blue" Martin, 66, died Tuesday, June 14, at home.

The family will receive friends at Tyndall Funeral Home, 1005 N. Church St. in Mount Olive, Friday, June 17, from 7 to 9 p.m., and at other times at the Neal Lynch residence, 5588 Liddell Road, Seven Springs.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, June 18, at 11 a.m. at Pineview Cemetery, Seven Springs, officiated by the Rev. Ashley Summerlin, with military honors presented.

A Vietnam veteran of the United States Army, he was a member of the Kinston post of the American Legion.

He had been employed with Taylor Beverage Co., and had been a farmer, a Realtor, stockbroker and businessman.

He is survived by his mother, Lessie "Deita" Martin Price of Seven Springs; two sons and daughters-in-law, Neal and Catherine Lynch of Seven Springs and Michael and Amy Martin of Dunn; two grandsons, Connor and Brody Lynch of Seven Springs; and his former wife and the mother of his sons, Sharon Martin of Goldsboro.

He was preceded in death by his father, Prentice Price, and his only brother, William "Buster" Price.
