GRAHAM -- James Michael Forehand, 43, died Sunday, June 12, 2011, at Duke University Medical Center.
A graduate of North Carolina State University with a master's degree, he was employed as a structural engineer with Camp, Dressser and McKee for 10 years.
He was a member of Antioch Baptist Church, where he served as a Sunday school teacher and Sunday school superintendent.
Survivors include his wife, Deborah Boyce Forehand; children, Danielle Deskins and husband, Daniel, Kaitlyn Forehand, Justyn and Jared Forehand; parents, Kenneth and Kathryn Bradshaw Forehand; and sister, Miranda Bennett and husband, Chad.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at Antioch Baptist Church by the Rev. Steve Loy. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at McClure Funeral Home in Graham from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday evening, and at other times at the residence.
