MOUNT OLIVE -- Angeline Coker Barwick, 75, 4114 Emmaus Church Road, Mount Olive, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2011, in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loving family.

Born Dec. 22, 1935, to the late John William Coker and Etta Coker Hill, she was preceded in death by her husband of 28 years, Harvey Barwick; a son, Nelson A. Barwick; a sister, Julia Mervin; and four brothers, Jackie Coker, Ralph Coker, Gordon Coker and David Coker.

Mrs. Angeline was a loving mother of four and grandmother.

Her passions were sewing for the community and cooking for her family.

She is survived by two sons and a daughter, Clifford Ray Barwick and wife, Cindy, of Mount Olive, Johnnie Barwick, of Mount Olive and Sandra K. Barwick and special friend, Phil Lane, of Dudley; a daughter-in-law, Tracy Barwick of Mount Olive; a sister, Dorothy Lane of Mount Olive; a brother, Willie Coker of Dudley; six grandchildren, Brad Barwick, C.J. Barwick, Billy Barwick, Justin Barwick, Dallas Barwick and Carlee Barwick; a great-grandson, Carson M. Barwick all of Mount Olive; special friends and family to include Elmer Lewis, Dianne Barwick, Ashleigh Stafford, Amanda Price and Eleanor Nelson and son Tyler; many nieces and nephews; and her loving companion of many years, Precious.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, Feb. 26, 2011, at 11 a.m. at Pineview Cemetery in Seven Springs.

The family will receive friends Friday evening from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Tyndall Funeral Home in Mount Olive, and at other times at the home.
