Robert L. Reed Sr., 82, 702 S. Harding Drive, No. E2, died Thursday at Pitt Memorial Hospital.
He was born to the late Bethel and Lizzie Reed of Chattanooga, Tenn.
Robert is survived by his wife of 44 years, Evelyn Reed; two daughters, Denise Latona (Stephen) and Linda Moore of Chicago, Ill.; son, Robert Reed Jr. of Newport, R.I.; and niece, Laura (James) Pharr of Seattle, Wash.
Funeral will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Pentecostal United Holy Church in Goldsboro, N.C. Burial will be at Evergreen memorial gardens in Wilson, N.C.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Rhodes Funeral Home, meeting the family will be from 6 to 8 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, D.C., 20090-6011, fund name Robert L. Reed Sr.
