Rosa Lee Brock Winders, 90, Goldsboro, passed away Tuesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

She was the daughter of the late Johnny Alton and Zilpha Louise Brock, and wife of the late William Hilton Winders Sr.

Mrs. Winders was a longtime member of Nahunta community before moving to Goldsboro, and assisted her husband with operating Winders Grocery.

Prior to her joining Faith Free Will Baptist Church, she was a member of Union Grove Free Will Baptist Church outside of Fremont.

A funeral Service will be held Friday evening at 7 p.m. at Faith Free Will Baptist Church, with the Rev. Dann Patrick officiating.

The family will receive friends for one hour prior to and following the services at Faith Free Will Baptist Church, or at other times at the home of her son, Hilton Winders Jr., 107 Western Wayne Drive, Pikeville.

The committal service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park.

Mrs. Winders is survived by a daughter, Peggy Winders Sandberg and husband, Gary, of Conway, S.C.; three sons, W. Hilton Winders Jr. and wife, Arlene, of Pikeville, Richard Lee Winders and wife, Shirley, of Kenly and Randy Brock Winders and wife, Wanda, of Pikeville; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Margaret Webb of Wilson and Clara Weeks of Pactolus.

Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Johnnie Alton Brock.
