MOUNT OLIVE -- Frances Gaynell Lane Mozingo, 82, passed away Wednesday at her home on Woodridge Drive.

She was the daughter of the late Jasper and Eliza Hinson Lane, and was sister to the late Bobby Lane and Jasper "Louie" Lane.

Mrs. Mozingo is survived by five daughters and their husbands, Dorothy M. and Willie Brock of Dudley, Mary M. and Danny Taylor of Seven Springs, Linda M. and Charles Myers of Mount Olive, Judy M. and Glenn Miller of Seven Springs and Brenda M. and Tim Nobles of Pink Hill; two sons and their wives, Donald and Joann Mozingo of Goldsboro and Roy Dexter and Pam Mozingo of Seven Springs; 25 grandchildren; and 50 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Joann Myers.

The family will receive friends at Tyndall Funeral Home in Mount Olive Friday from 7 to 9 p.m., and at other times at the home of Dorothy and Willie Brock, 4960 U.S. 117 Alternate, Dudley.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the First Pentecostal Holiness Church in Goldsboro, with the Rev. Bill Rose and the Rev. Charles Boyd officiating. Burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery in Mount Olive.

Flowers are welcome, or memorial gifts may be made to the American Cancer Society.
