KINSTON -- Wendy Butler Wade, 49, of Kinston, died Wednesday.
She was born Feb. 16, 1961, in Cisco, Texas, to Clyde Butler of Sweetwater, Texas, and the late Patricia Ann Wallace Butler. In addition to her mother, Wendy was preceded in death by her husband of 31 years, Rufus F. Wade, and daughter, Kassi Wade.
A graveside service of remembrance will be held Friday at 11 a.m. from Westview Cemetery with the Rev. Tony McLamb officiating.
In addition to her father, Wendy is survived by her son, grandchild and three sisters.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Rouse Funeral Home and at other times they will be at the home of Mr. & Mrs. Kere Wade, 885 Highway 58 South, Snow Hill. Arrangements are with Rouse Funeral Home, LaGrange.
