HEZEKIAH E. SIMMONS
Hezekiah E. Simmons, 87, of New York died Saturday at the Regency Extended Care Center in Yonkers, N.Y. A celebration of life will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Rhodes Funeral Home Chapel, 708 S. Slocumb St., eldress Donzelle Richardson officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Old Mill Cemetery. He was born June 19, 1923, in Wayne County to the late Sylvester Simmons and John Ann Yelverton.
There will be a viewing Saturday from 10 a.m. until the hour of service. At other times the family will be receiving friends at the home his sister Ms. Ossie Williams, 715 S. Slocumb St. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Rhodes Funeral Home, Goldsboro.
