MOUNT OLIVE -- Mr. Ronald Winn, 64, 133 Nelson St., Mount Olive, N.C., departed this life peacefully Sunday, Jan. 2, 2011, at Brunswick Cove Nursing Center in Winnadow, N.C.
Ronald was born Jan. 31, 1946, to the late Mr. Homer Winn and Mrs. Elizabeth Smith Winn.
He served his country by serving in the United States Army.
Funeral service will be conducted Saturday, Jan. 8, 2011, at 11 a.m. at Payne Temple AME Zion Church, 915 S. Center St., Mount Olive, N.C., with pastor Patsy Faison officiating.
Also, a public viewing will be held Friday, Jan. 7, 2011, at McIntyre Funeral Home, 900 S. George St., Golds-boro, N.C., from 2 to 7 p.m. with a wake from 6 to 7 p.m. Interment will follow in Carver Cemetery, 633 Breazeale Ave., Mount Olive, N.C.
