Merritt Lewis Taylor, 81, 511 Forrest Hill Drive, Goldsboro, N.C., died Tuesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
He is survived by his wife, Catherine Coley Taylor, and three children
Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries of Goldsboro. Burial will follow in Old Mill Cemetery.
Visitation will be Sunday from 4 to 7 p.m. with the family present to receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. at McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries of Goldsboro.
The family will receive friends at other times at the residence, where they will also assemble in preparation for the funeral procession.
