Roy "Big Boy" Dortch, 71, 500 S. Audubon Ave., died Wednesday at Britthaven Nursing Home in Goldsboro, N.C.
Eulogistic services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Faith United Holy Church. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
Precious memories are cherished by his children, Tom and Ann of New York; his siblings, Mary Dortch of Hyattsville, Md., Pauline Dortch, Dorothy Coley, Fannie Holmes, Lola Coley, Patrice Coley, Catherine Coley and Roland Coley of Goldsboro.
Visitation will be Saturday from 2 to 6 p.m. with the family present to receive friends from 5 to 6 p.m. at McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries of Goldsboro.
The family will receive friends at other times at the residence, where they will also assemble in preparation for the funeral procession.
