Geraldine J. Lofton, 80, 146 Greenfield Cemetery Road, peacefully departed this earthly life Friday, Nov. 5, 2010, at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Precious memories will be cherished by her husband, Samuel Lofton Jr. of the home; two daughters, Linda C. Jones and Sandra G. Lofton both of the home; two sons, Samuel Lofton III and Linwood (Deborah) Lofton of Durham, N.C.; and five grandchildren.
Eulogistic services will be conducted Saturday at 12 p.m. at Barnes Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, with the Rev. Connie Best Jr. officiating. She will be laid to rest at Wayne Memorial Park, U.S. 117 south.
A viewing will be held at Hamilton Funeral Chapel Friday, Nov. 12, from 2 to
7 p.m.
The family will receive friends Friday from 6 to 7 p.m. at Hamilton Funeral Chapel.
