BETTY SASSER REAVES

Betty Sasser Reaves, 68, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2010, at her home.
Betty was born in Rowan County July 17, 1942, to the late Joseph Clifton Sasser and Clara Davis Sasser. She was married to the late David John Reaves.
Betty was a graduate of Goldsboro High School, and was a member of St. Luke United Methodist Church.
A service to celebrate Betty's life will be held Friday, Nov. 12, 2010, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home, with the Rev. Jerry Mitchell officiating.
The family will receive friends following the service.
Betty is survived by her son, Joseph Brandon Reaves of Wilmington; her sister, Susan Gunnet and husband, Keith, of Goldsboro; and several cousins.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her son, David John Reaves Jr.
