MAJ. RONALD P. JOHNSON

WARNER ROBINS, Ga. -- Ron Johnson lived his life in service to the Lord.
He was a graduate of the University of Texas, the Naval Postgraduate School and the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary.
Maj. Johnson proudly served in the United States Marine Corps for 21 years, including a tour of duty in Vietnam.
After retirement, he served as a university professor, an administrator for several churches and a computer analyst at Warner Robins Air Force Base.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Earline K. Johnson; children, Dr. Kirsten Johnson (Jonathan Herring) of Oxford, England, Marcae Robertson (Nicholas) of Noida, India, and Dr. Paul Johnson (Jennifer) of Atlanta, Ga.; and grandchildren, Grace and Hope Robertson, Laurel, Joanna and Darcy Herring and Evelyn and Nathan Johnson.
A celebration service will be held Thursday, Nov. 11, 2010, at 7 p.m. at Cornerstone Assembly of God Church, 1004 N.C. 222 east in Fremont, N.C., where Ron was a devoted member for 10 years.
All who knew him and loved him are invited to attend.
