NEWPORT NEWS, Va. -- Phoebe Hammond, 70, formerly of Dudley, died Wednesday at home.
A service of remembrance will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Cooke Brothers Funeral chapel in Newport News, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Funeral will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at First Congregational Church in Dudley. Burial will be in First Congregational Church Cemetery.
She was the daughter of the late Archie and Retha Grantham.
Visitation will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at the church. A repast will follow burial at the church.
