KENNETH SMITH

Kenneth Smith, 78, passed away Monday, Oct. 18, 2010, at the Brian Center.
Kenneth was born in Wayne County June 6, 1932, to the late Joe Smith and Zola Worrell.
He was retired from Tri County Electric with more than 30 years of service, and was a member of Goldsboro Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church, where he had served as deacon.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Oct. 20, 2010, at 7 p.m. in the chapel at Seymour Funeral Home, with the Rev. Mark Thomas officiating. Interment will be Thursday, Oct. 21, 2010, at 11 a.m. in Wayne Memorial Park.
Kenneth is survived by his wife, Faye F. Smith; his sons, Keith Smith and wife, Regina, Billy Joe Smith and James Douglas Smith all of Dudley; his daughter, Lisa Lozier of Grantham; his six grandchildren; his brother, Durwood Smith of Goldsboro; and his sisters, Edna S. Davis, Dorothy S. Hollamon and Margie S. Tyner all of Goldsboro.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Ruth S. Smith and Alease S. Minshew; his brother, Marvin Smith; and his grandson, Steven Lozi er.
The family will receive friends Wednesday following the service at Seymour Funeral Home, and other times at the home, 102 Jill Court in Dudley.
