Esther Davis Sasser, Patetown community, died Sunday at Wayne Memorial Hospital with her family by her side.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Pine Forest United Methodist Church, 867 N.C. 581 south. There will be a time of sharing with the family from 1 to 2 p.m. in the church fellowship hall.
Surviving are her husband, Audrey B. Sasser; son, Kevin Sasser (Wendy) of Patetown; a daughter, Wanda S. Langston (Tim) of Fremont; a sister, Dorothy Davis Holt of Kinston; and a brother-in-law, Leslie Williams of Goldsboro.
Mrs. Sasser was a native of Rosewood community, and was the daughter of the late Mary Howell Davis and Lemuel Davis.
