DUDLEY -- Linwood Earl Mozingo, 59, passed away suddenly Monday, Aug. 2, 2010, at his home.
Linwood was born in Wayne County April 15, 1951, to the late Ressie B. Mozingo and Eloise Hill Mozingo.
He had worked as a truck driver for Eugene Trucking Co. in Faison.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday at 3 p.m. at Gurley Family Cemetery, 5780 Wayne Memorial Drive, Pikeville, with Edsel Hooks and the Rev. Vernon Capps officiating.
Linwood is survived by his son, Mark Mozingo; his daughter, Amanda Amaro; and his grandchildren, Vincent, Michael and Kayleigh Amaro. He is also survived by his brothers, Jerry Mozingo of Dudley, Gene Mozingo of Wendell and Allen Mozingo of Pikeville; his sisters, Frances Mozingo of Dudley, Kathy Johnson of Dudley, Louise Chase of Dudley, Bobbie Mozingo of Dudley and Betty Sears of Goldsboro; his half-brother, Curlie Mozingo; and a special nephew, Michael Mozingo.
The family will receive friends Wednesday following the service at the cemetery.
