MOUNT OLIVE -- Dorothy Byrd, 73, died Sunday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Funeral will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. from the chapel of Howell Funeral Home in Goldsboro. Burial will be at Wayne Memorial Park.
Mrs. Byrd was married to the late Franklin "Frank" Byrd.
She is survived by a son.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro, and other times at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, David and Melinda Byrd, 1039 Spring Bank Road in Goldsboro.
