FAYETTEVILLE -- Nancy Whitfield, 89, 2060 Corrinna St., formerly of Goldsboro, died July 9 in Haymont Rehab and Nursing Center in Fayetteville.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
She was the daughter of the late Thomas and Sadie Payton Bryant.
She is survived by a daughter, Mattie DeVaughn Jones; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are by Herring Funeral Care and Cremations of Fayetteville.
